Ontario Arts Review on Old Love:
two super talented actors – Kitty Varley & Vince Carlin.
a fast-moving and attention-keeping gem.
The View:
Varley is dizzyingly dazzling!.. Carlin carries his roles with the easy confidence of a seasoned performer…
From Michelle Spanik’s expert sound, through Linda DeCosimo’s perfect gallimaufry of costumes, and the confident stage–managing of Kathy Carlin, nothing had been left to chance. Great credit to Producer John O’Hara and Director Dia Frid for a theatrical experience of light romantic comedy to confirm our faith in Foster. See it!
Hamilton Spectator:
Kitty Varley and Vince Carlin tear into Foster’s play, investing it with love, both old and new. They inhabit characters that are never quite believable, but they do it with such grace we want to give in to their talents.
(Director Dia Frid’s) imagination is everywhere…
